Well, is that time of the year when we assess what we have accomplished and start making plans for the New Year…

For those who have been asking whether I’ll be teaching more Food Sovereignty workshops, here is a tentative list of what’s coming…the exact dates and costs will be posted soon, so follow the blog to be updated

  • Pickling vegetables
  • Pickling fruits
  • Canning jams and butters
  • Canning sauces and chutneys
  • Making your own kimchis

Old Good Days:

  • Making your own fruit and infused vinegars from scratch
  • Making 1-hour cheeses: from cream cheese, queso blanco, paneer and fresh cheese with herbs to mozzarella
  • Making your own sourdough starter (and baking with it!)

  • Healthy Soil, Healthy Guts: preparing your soil for edible gardening and herbs
  • Planning and designing the edible garden
